PRIVACY POLICY
How your enquiry details are handled.
This policy explains what this international pFlow site collects, why, where it is kept and who receives it. It follows the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Last updated 19 October 2026.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by SensingNet Limited (傳感網有限公司), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (company number 77948556) with its registered office at Unit A7, 12/F, Astoria Building, 34 Ashley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. SensingNet Limited builds, hosts and operates the site under authorization of Gentos Measurement & Control Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen, China), the owner of the pFlow brand. For the personal data collected through this site, SensingNet Limited is the data user; Gentos receives the enquiries to answer them, as described below.
What we collect
Through the contact form: your name, email address, company, region, your message and any technical details you choose to give (pipe, liquid, temperature, data connection). Through your visit: the technical data a web server records, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Through cookies: the session and preference cookies described on the cookies page. We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive personal data.
What we use it for
To reply to your enquiry and send it to the people who can answer it; to operate, secure and improve the site; to produce monthly operation figures (numbers of enquiries by stage and response times, without the content of the enquiries) that SensingNet Limited reports to Gentos under their agreement; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for direct marketing without your consent.
Where it is kept and who receives it
Enquiries and site data are stored on systems in Hong Kong operated by SensingNet Limited. Your enquiry, including the details you entered, is handed to the international department of Gentos Measurement & Control Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, mainland China, so that Gentos can answer technical questions and prepare quotations; Gentos uses it for that purpose only, under its agreement with SensingNet Limited. Service providers that host or maintain the site may process data on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept while your enquiry or customer relationship is active and for up to three years after the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or by a contract with you. Server logs are kept for ninety days. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Ordinance you may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected. Send your request through the contact form or by post to the registered office above, marked "Data access request"; we respond within forty days. You may also ask us to delete your enquiry; we will do so unless we have to keep it.
Security
Access to enquiries is limited to the staff of SensingNet Limited and the Gentos international department who handle them, each with their own account. Connections to the production site are encrypted, backups are stored in Hong Kong, and the site is checked and updated by its operator.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes; the date above shows the current version. Questions about this policy go to SensingNet Limited through the contact form or to the registered office.
